This update improves the review, scan setup, dashboard, and Execute experience so it is clearer what Zenovix will do before anything is changed.
Improvements
- The Execute area now uses clearer wording for reviewed cleanup actions, including recoverable archive, Recycle Bin, and permanent delete options. It is more obvious that nothing changes until the user starts the action, and that archive mode keeps recovery records for Recovery Centre.
- Execution stages now use plain English status messages for preparing the reviewed plan, creating the archive, moving items, deleting items, verifying recovery records, and recording the final outcome.
- Archive mode is presented more clearly as the recommended recoverable option. Recycle Bin and permanent delete modes now explain that they are not tracked in Zenovix Recovery Centre, with permanent delete clearly described as having no restorable copy.
- Duplicate and empty folder review screens now explain what to do next in plain language, including when to select the next unreviewed group, when all visible groups are complete, and when decisions can still be changed before Execute.
- The empty folder review area now uses clearer labels and descriptions for search, review state, bulk actions, folders in scope, and selected folder details.
- Scan settings now better highlight exact matching as the recommended safest option. SHA-256 matching is labelled as the safest choice, and fuzzy matching options are described as optional advanced passes.
- The scan progress bar now stays hidden when no scan is running, reducing visual noise on the main screen.
Fixes
- Removed placeholder style text from the user interface, including internal wording such as Execute Stage, Not set, and placeholder review labels.
- Replaced missing scan root placeholder text with clearer wording, including No scan root selected when no folder has been chosen.
- Empty folder filters now show clearer messages, including when no folders match the current filters, how many folders are visible, and how many have already been reviewed.
Maintenance
- Updated the application and package metadata for the 1.0.5.0 Microsoft Store release.
